F4U-I "Bird Cage" Corsair
The Blucor Corsair fuse is super simple construction and with baked wings, Its has a stand off scale look. This is the first of a naval series of WWII planes that i plan on building. I just made the fuse from paper board first(templetes) Then disassembled it and began tracing patterns. I did learn one important thing, And that's that Blucor shrinks! Yes when you roll it into a tube its not as long as the templates. Just lengthen you templates 10% or so and you should be in the rite area or have a better reference to go by. There are no construction photo's or drawing for this bird and i don't plan on making any. Its very time consuming and i like building these planes more than writing about them . But if you look real close you will get the idea.
